It is open to everyone, be you a hard core Wikipedian or simply thinking about dipping your toes in the water. It will precede Wikimania 2017 to be held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Proposed talks[edit | edit source]

The program currently has more proposals than 30-minute timeslots. Anyone with a talk to propose should do so here. There will be time for everyone who wants to present to have some stage time, with 5-minute lightning talks, shared panel sessions, and only a few 30-minute slots.

  • List your proposal here

This program will use the main Wikimania submission schedule for all talks, regardless of length - Submissions#Acceptance_and_important_dates

  • Deadline for submissions: March 30, 2017
  • Notification of acceptance for presentations: April 20, 2017

Submit by listing your proposal above!

Registration[edit | edit source]

Registration for the medical day of events is included within that of the two days of pre-conference ($50 CAD)

I was pretty bold in taking two spots now, however I feel I have quite a lot to contribute. Feel free to move these around. They don't really tie together that well, so I want them separated. However it isn't certain I really need 30 minutes for each either. I'll update this page when I have a better idea of what amount of time I need.
Maybe each as a 15 min piece? It will partly depend on how many of our potential speakers will be able to attend. Doc James (talk) 13:51, 18 January 2017 (UTC)
Would work well, but if possible I'd like them separate. CFCF (talk) 14:03, 23 January 2017 (UTC
