What is Wikimania?
Wikimania is the official annual conference of the Wikimedia Foundation. Topics of presentations and discussions include Wikimedia projects such as Wikipedia, other wikis, open-source software, free knowledge and free content, and social and technical aspects related to these topics.
What is Wikimania 2017 about?
Wikimania 2017 is not your usual conference: it will host a wide range of activities including master lectures, unconferences, workshops, a hackathon, quick meetings, encounters, parties and regular chit-chat between wiki enthusiasts from around the world. There will be many events to attend and be part of!

What should I bring?
Do you provide childcare?
The Sheraton has recommended the following option for childcare services. All arrangements and payments are to be made directly with the contact:

What kind of meals will you be providing?
We will be providing omnivore, vegetarian and vegan options. We will not be providing kosher meals during lunch but there are some nearby restaurants that provide this option, including The Plezl and Chops.
