- Abstract (up to 300 words to describe your proposal)
- The Movement strategy process has been an important undertaking in the Wikimedia community this year, reaching out to and involving a wide group of individual contributors, organized groups, readers, partners, and experts. By Wikimania, the first phase of the process will have concluded and a strategic direction for the Wikimedia movement will have emerged, and the second phase, focusing on roles and resources, will start. Each audience track is expected to present their process, results, lessons learned, and next steps. This session will be hosted by a panel of the core strategy team and track leads, where the attendees will be invited to ask any questions they have about the movement strategy process as a whole.
- What will attendees take away from this session?
- Participants will leave the session with a better understanding of the movement strategy process that will have preceded Wikimania, and of what will happen after Wikimania as well (phase 2).
