Abstract (up to 300 words to describe your proposal)
When a new user comes to Wikipedia the experience can be overwhelming. How to edit, which are the rules... first edits seems like yelling in the desert. Until you notice that there's a vibrant community who shares your passion for knowledge. Gamification is a technique used by many products to encourage fidelization and community building. Using game techniques in Wikimedia could make editing more interesting, and new users would have feedback while they start working.
