Last summer, I was looking for a new job, and decided to join the #100WikiDays challenge to relieve some of the stress of job-hunting in a country that is still new to me (I was born in Venezuela, emigrated to Israel 4 years ago). During this journey, I learned about 100 remarkable jewish women, which helped me and others learn more about my own people, and help reduce a bit the gender gap on Wikipedia. I did this by creating these articles in four different languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Ladino, English) with amazing results, as some of the articles ended up being translated by other wikimedians to up to 7 other languages, from Armenian to Arabic. These 100 diverse jewish women and their stories inspired me, and they helped me inspire others to create more articles on Wikipedia. In addition to that, I made new friendships with other wikimedians and got engaged in other challenges with them, like its spinoff #100WikiCommonsDays, which consists of uploading 100 quality media files to Commons, one per day. This is my story, and I want to share it with you.
