Hi, I'm Caroline! I'm from New Orleans, Louisiana and am currently based in San Francisco.
I'm a researcher and prior to working for the Wikimedia Foundation, I researched online communication, harassment, and protest. I'm a bit new to Wikipedia (always a lurker, but new to editing) and you'll see my (new!) edits on Wikipedia (under my personal user account User:cellarpaper) on tv shows and fandoms, notably anything Nickelodeon or it's early teen tv channel, The N. I...really like fandoms.
I'm a designer and researcher for the Foundation on the Community Tech team working on the Community health initiative. Prior to working for the Foundation, I worked at IBM Watson as a design researcher on chatbots. Currently, I am an Open Lab fellow at BuzzFeed and Eyebeam researching online harassment and machine learning. Many years ago, I worked as a photographer.
