About me
I am a contributor on Wikimedia eco-system for almost a decade and half now, currently mosty active on Bangla Wikisource and Wikidata, but I have alos explored other sister projects considerably at some point of my journey. I have initiated, helped build and supported several online and offline impactful projects for a number of Wikimedians and a few affiliates, but I am completely exhausted and done with those thankless jobs. I try to stay behind the scene most of the time and am extremely lazy to document my work. I am also neither interested, nor have any ambition to be in any bureaucratic committees or powerful positions. I hate dishonesty, hypocrisy and double standards from the core of my heart, so I can be very difficult to be dealt with by many, and usually when I shut down for them, I never turn back.
My work
For the last few years, my main efforts have been involved documenting literary heritage of my language on Wikisource and Wikidata. I am interested in integrating bibliographical and content metadata of Wikisource with Wikidata and have been spending years with a few awesome developers to help build several tools related to that like Wikisource Reader app, Leximap, Sangkalak, Annotator etc. I am also coordinating with a few British Library officials to bring rare literary contents from their collections to Wikimedia for everyone to access.
