I'm the director at Wikitongues, a non-profit platform for linguistic diversity and cultural exchange. We build open source tools to aid language documentation efforts. We also record video oral histories and word lists in the world's more than 7,000 language communities, publishing this content under creative commons licenses. Some from our community are also active and enthusiastic Wikimedians, and I'm very eager to become more involved in the Wikimedia movement myself.
