| Abstract: | (English) | Most of the more interesting development and technological work around the Wikimedia projects takes place outside the Foundation, often outside the projects themselves. At the periphery of the projects there is a thriving ecosystem of developers that are building cool things from visualization of data in imaginative ways, to image editing, to mapmaking.
This presentation showcases some of the more impressive ways volunteers have found to interact, reuse and interface with our projects over the years; and gives pointers towards the tools and resources at their disposal. We'll also take a look at what the future holds, and what areas have yet to be explored. What cool thing are you going to make next? |
