Meta-Wiki has a small active community. When a normal user requires the assistance of an administrator or bureaucrat for some particular task, it is not always easy to find one. This page helps users find one when they need one; asking specific admins directly via their talk pages is one way to elicit a fast response. It is only for assistance required at Meta-Wiki, help for other wikis needs to be requested at those wikis.

 On hold, waiting for a second opinion from another sysop/bureaucrat. Although the policy requires that user have not an active block on the wiki for which they are requesting the right, I usually tend to be sure that their work is constructive and appropriate.

  • Aditional context : Just to provide insight since there was a reference to my Sysop action against this user on their homewiki. This user was blocked for disruptive editing and harassment. We are in the process of reviewing their entire contributions on Yowiki to understand the level of damage they had done to mainspace articles, fix those that could be fixed, and nuke articles they had created entirely with machines. I generally think that this user should never be allowed to lead events, especially those that involve building capacity for others, as they need training themselves.     @M7, The major reason I needed the Event tool was that I meet the criteria as I am a certified Wikimedia project organizer who participated in the Organizer Lab V2 where I was well trained on Leading events[2]. @T Cells comments are restricted to the yo.wiki

  • This is unfair from your end @T Cells.You are currently blocked on English Wikipedia yourself https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/T_Cells after several disruptive edits on English Wikipedia for many years yet you edit on Yoruba Wikimedia where you are able to blossom.
    If the Wikimedia Foundation has been this biased then probably you won't be championing some projects now.
    I feel the issue on the yo.wikipedia should be resolved while @Taoheedah should be granted the right to organize events related to English Wikipedia.

    @Vermont, I understand your concern about my limited editing experience on English Wikipedia. However, my primary focus has been on English Wikiquote, where I've been actively contributing and gaining valuable experience. While my English Wikipedia editing experience may be limited, I believe my skills and knowledge gained from other projects are transferable and will enable me to effectively lead events coupled with being a participant of the organizer Lab V2. I am eager to learn and adapt to the English Wikipedia community's specific guidelines and best practices. @Taoheedah I'm not in anyway against you asking for Organizer right, but I would like to reiterate that your block on YoWiki is a justified one.

Largely, your edits (whether intentional or not) has been disruptive, you've consistently used Yoruba diatrical marks inappropriately, giving ALMOST EVERY SINGLE WORD in your articles different meaning than intended, this has continued for years and fellow editors have reached out to you concerning that (you didn't acknowledge or reply to any of those corrections until 8 days ago ).

When another editor reached out to you on your talk page about 10 days ago, you simply resorted to harassment and name-calling. You were not willing to heed to corrections even when other editors again tried to intervene on your talk page, that was what resulted in you being blocked, not sentiments or subjective views/believes.
