Français : Le principal écueil qui guette les universitaires dans leur rapport à Wikipédia est de juger son fonctionnement à la lumière de la culture éditoriale savante, où règnent l’expertise, l’évaluation par les pairs et la notion d’auteur. L’encyclopédie collaborative obéit à une autre logique éditoriale, tout aussi cohérente et légitime, qui doit être démystifiée pour qu’étudiant.e.s et, surtout, professeur.e.s, puissent pleinement comprendre le potentiel pédagogique de Wikipédia. Distinguer entre culture éditoriale wikipédienne et culture éditoriale savante permet de poser les bases d’un dialogue fructueux et nécessaire entre deux communautés distinctes et pourtant complémentaires.
